Il Palazzino is not a hotel.
It is a family-run agriturismo: a historic house surrounded by nature, created for those who seek space, silence and freedom.
This means many beautiful things.
And also a few differences compared to a traditional hotel.
Il Palazzino is a farmhouse in the countryside
Here you will find:

a warm yet discreet atmosphere

plenty of privacy

silence
-
a slow, unhurried pace
Here you will not find:

a front desk with permanent staff
-
“city-style” services or those of a large hotel
We are surrounded by nature.
And that is exactly what makes it special.
Welcome and Freedom
We do not have a permanently staffed front desk.
When you arrive, we welcome you personally and hand over the keys.
From that moment on, you are free to come and go whenever you wish – with no schedules and no constraints.
Il Palazzino is our home as well as our workplace.
Here we live our daily life and, at times, we may be busy with agricultural work or simply away from the house.
For any need, question or unexpected situation, we are always reachable at the numbers we will provide.
Check-in and check-out
As Il Palazzino is a lived-in home and not a hotel:

Check-in is possible only on certain days of the week, depending on our presence on the property.

Check-in time is from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
For check-out and any end-of-stay purchases from our shop,
we will always find the best moment together. e.
Stays designed for slow down
Il Palazzino is not designed for very short stays.
We have chosen a minimum stay of one week, because:

we do not have staff to manage daily arrivals and departures
-
we believe this place can only be truly appreciated when it is lived without hurry
One week is the minimum time needed to:

slow down
-
find the rhythm of the place
-
truly enjoy silence and space
Not by chance, some guests then ask to stay longer.
Your room or suite
Upon arrival, your room will be provided with:

bed and bath linen
-
a generous courtesy set
During your stay, we will take care of:
-
towel change every 4 days
-
bed linen change once a week
-
room cleaning every other day
This is not a daily city-hotel service.
It is a service designed for those who truly live the place.
The keyword: tranquillity
The everyday philosofy at Il Palazzino is:

no rushing around,
respect for silence and for other guests,
respect for the nature that surrounds us.
Animals, nature and real country life
We live here. And with us live dogs and cats.
Pets of our guests are welcome, but only in selected accommodations, especially those with direct access from outside.

We chose to live in the countryside because we love nature. And there is no countryside without animals.
​
Here live fireflies and butterflies, hedgehogs and birds, geckos hunting insects on the walls – and yes, also small mice, snakes and sometimes wild boars among the olive trees.
This is country life. We cannot and do not want to remove it.

We can only tell you this with honesty:
Il Palazzino is fully immersed in nature and is not the right place for those who are afraid of animals or insects.​
For those who love real life – a life made of seasons, silence and gentle presences – this is a small wonder.
